At Jason Stone Injury Lawyers, we believe in investing in the next generation of leaders, and we’re proud to announce the recipients of our inaugural scholarship program.
This year, the firm awarded two $2,500 scholarships: one to a graduating high school senior who demonstrated how a summer activity helped prepare them for the transition to college, and another to a student who is the child of a federal employee.
“These students have already accomplished something truly remarkable,” said Jason Stone, founder and president of Jason Stone Injury Lawyers. “Sanya took an idea that started in her own community and helped grow it into a national movement empowering young people to participate in local democracy. Samantha represents another kind of service that is just as important, a commitment to public safety, helping others, and honoring the families of federal workers who help keep our country moving. Federal employees and their families are part of the backbone of our society, and we’re proud to support students who understand the value of service at such a young age.”
Meet Our Scholarship Recipients
Sanya Nadeem of East Walpole, Massachusetts, was selected for her outstanding commitment to civic engagement and youth leadership. A graduate of Montrose School, Sanya founded The VOTE Movement, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to increasing participation in local elections, and created a nonpartisan voter guide that helped more than 1,000 residents become informed voters. She will attend the University of Pennsylvania this fall, where she plans to study political science and pursue a future in constitutional or civil rights law.
Samantha Rondo of Lebanon, Maine, received the scholarship designated for a child of a federal employee. Samantha is pursuing a degree in criminology at the University of New England and spent last summer working as a Community Service Officer with the Kennebunkport Police Department. Through her role, she developed strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills while gaining valuable insight into law enforcement and public service. She hopes to build a career focused on helping others and combating human trafficking.
We congratulate Sanya and Samantha on their achievements and wish them continued success in their academic journeys.
