A student’s first year of college often sees them face a number of unexpected challenges. Many of those challenges stem from the need to balance self-care and classes with the plethora of new opportunities available to young people learning how to live independently.
The new Jason Stone Injury Lawyers Scholarship Program will award two scholarships of $2,500 each to two students who can describe how their activities prepared them for a successful first year of college. Our Boston personal injury lawyers recognize that some students make a point to prepare themselves for the challenges of their first year of college, and we want to recognize their efforts.
The firm is offering two financial awards: one to a child of a Federal Employee and another to any graduating student. Incoming freshmen have until May 1, 2026, to submit their application for the team’s consideration. Jason Stone Injury Lawyers wishes all applicants the best of luck.

Scholarship Essay Topic
The Jason Stone Injury Lawyers scholarship selection committee requests that you write an essay between 750 and 1,000 words tackling the following question:
How did the activities and lessons you experienced over summer vacation help prepare you to undertake the challenges of your first year of college?
The team encourages you to go into detail about why you pursued the opportunities you did and how your experience with certain activities, job responsibilities, clubs, community outreach programs, etc., helped you feel more confident setting out on your own.
Tips for Writing an Essay for Jason Stone Injury Lawyers
When composing your scholarship essay, make sure to come up with a clever and catchy title that reflects the theme of your work. Your essay should also include a header that mentions:
- Your full name
- Your student ID number (if applicable)
- Whether you’re applying as a child of a Federal Employee or not
- The name of your academic institution of choice
- The mailing address, phone number, and email for that institution’s financial aid office
If you include any quotes in your essay, make sure to include in-line citations and a bibliography along with your essay.
Notably, your essay should be entirely original and unique to you. The scholarship selection committee will not accept essays written by AI and passed off as your original work. The inappropriate use of AI to apply for the Jason Stone Injury Lawyers Scholarship will see your application automatically removed from the applicant pool.
