Tewksbury Man Walks Away from Car Crash, Struck by Passing Vehicle

According to a Boston.com article written by Jeff Fish, a Tewksbury man was involved in a single-car collision on Route 3 North, and was walking from his vehicle when he was fatally struck by a moving car.

Witnesses state that the man was walking in a travel lane, and was seemingly unaware of the oncoming vehicle. Captain Joseph Bradley of Billerica Fire Department stated that about 10 to 12 drivers and passengers suffered injuries – none serious.

Traffic was rerouted for two hours, following the car collision. Law enforcement and fire officials are still investigating the details and circumstances of the collision.

The MA Personal Injury Lawyers encourage all drivers and passengers to exercise caution when driving a vehicle, or walking near or on roadways.
