Massachusetts Pedestrian Accident Kills 1, Injures 4

A 32-year-old man is being held in connection to a deadly Massachusetts Pedestrian Accident that happened this past weekend. Reports indicate the incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday along Route 28 in Chatham, Massachusetts.

An article from WHDH 7 News explained police attempted to stop the driver of a Range Rover in the town of Harwich, but the driver failed to comply and a chase ensued.

The pursuit ended after the Range Rover’s driver left the roadway and struck a nearby pedestrian and a parked car carrying four passengers. The impact of the collision claimed the life of the pedestrian and injured those inside the parked car that was struck.

The surviving victims were rushed to a local trauma center in order to undergo further evaluations of their condition.

Meanwhile, the driver responsible for causing the crash has been charged with ten crimes, including assault with a dangerous weapon and unlicensed operation of a vehicle. The District Attorney’s Office has stated the accused may face more charges pending the outcome of a full investigation into the incident and its causes.
